Something that's been bugging me for a while now-Jumbotrons

Or should I say Daktronics video boards?

In MTM1, the RCA Dome track has 4 video screens which use a simple resize of the screen image to make for full motion. It's a technique which is used in many other racing games, as old as the original Destruction Derby, and as new as FlatOut 2.

Something I've never known, though, is how those 4 faces are designated as video boards in the game. There is a stock texture of a truck which is used for them in BE, but I haven't been able to find what exactly tells the game to put them in there. I've looked in the .SIT file, maybe not enough, but there's nothing. Is there another file that should be looked at? Or is it hard coded for that track?

Drags don't work in mtm2, so that's a problem right there.

For mtm1, is the texture on the model? If yes, then it's probably the texture name that triggers the effect... just as the start model uses STRTGRN.RAW and STRTRED.RAW to know how to display the lights at the beginning of the game. There is nothing special about the model or sit file. It's the file name that triggers it.

Note. Face type may be a factor, I've never played much with the idea.
