The days events were Champ Car practice (12 laps max per car), Toyota Atlantic Series Race #2 (#1 was held the sat before), Drifting Exhibition and then the Champ Car race.
Neither one of us had been to a champ race before, I was surprised by how much we enjoyed the toyota atlantic series. The drivers went to the edge and back and that created a few off course treks and some lockups when going deep into corners.
The whole day ran us a few bucks in gas, 10 dollars to park and some lunch money. Not to shabby for tickets that are 39.50 each.

Sure kept the sun out of my eyes though. I dont wear a hat very often, my head doesn't really like them.
