another question about painting

Post by kpayne89 »

i got a race comin up and i would love to make a few adjustments to my truck. im using the Safe Auto Minimizer truck. i cant find the .BIN file for it. is their a certain way you half to download a custom truck to your c-pod? what i did was open the trucks current pod besides opening the Truck2 pod. was that the wrong thing to do. im not trying to be a pain in the butt asking all of these questions, im just new and wanting to get everything right.

If you extracted all the files from the truck, look in the MODELS folder. Look for a BIN called 04SA.bin

I never tried to extract a trucks pod without first extracting Truck2.pod first.

Did you give your files new original names? If you use the stock names, then c-pod will exclude them from the pod.

Okay, that explains why they don't get added to the pod.

> i cant find them.

Oh, they're there. If you backtrack, you can figure it out. First get the 04SA.bin (if that's the one you used) and look for the textures it uses. Write the names down on a piece of paper if it helps. Then scrounge around the art folder. They're around someplace.
