i usually dont download circuit tracks like this because im what you guys would call a dragger. but i downloaded this track because i saw the loops and didnt think it was possible. Im sure other people have gotten around them but i cant. But either way its a great, fun track and i hope a lot of other draggers will give it a try.

Completing a loop can be frustrating with a stock truck since it takes considerable driving skills. So yesterday, I built a few custom trucks specifically for the purpose of being able to drive inverted more easily. They look kinda nutty but they handle perfectly for their intended use.

I suggest running with cockpit view toggled on since you often have to make minor steering adjustments while inverted which's much more difficult to execute with chase far view.

The trucks/cars have been tested in profesional, intermediate, manual and auto trannys, in the rain and snow, forward and in reverse.

Amazing. I have to admit, I thought this could not be done. Now I have to re-think that whole "speed-of-light" limit thing.

^Well remember back when the game first came out the limit was dead-set at like 230 degrees or something? Fantastic to see that it's been done!

lol, after all the years the game exists, it has finally been proven its possible hehe. Good job!!

Pretty challenging to hit every loop complete. Only thing I dont like is the music file [:P]

Good grief. I tried this and had to use the "speed trainer" (available from the mtmg extra utils page) to get as far as a 120-degree loop. I haven't perfected how to get a really good loop on this track, but I've got three awesome ones - the only trouble is they get wrecked by being a little crooked.

Excellent track!

can you run this track with a stock or do you need one like liver and onions.

you can run the track with stock, i did the loop with my trucks (jumper's wheels) executioner and big foot.
I never could beat Mal's 2:01.09 but that's more because i'm a use to be than it is because of the truck. :D I never installed the trainer so it's doable without. Perhaps Mal can make us a replay some day?

The replay is in the download. I made that before we had the means to have replays so I included it in the zip. It was done with stock, but took me all night to get a nice lap. And Mal's time is more than I can do too.

Not being an engineer or a track maker, I do know in real life looping roller coasters, motorcycle stunts, etc., are not circular but a decreasing radius entering and an increasing radius exiting. A teardrop.
Do the real laws of gravity and momentum apply to MTM2 tracks? Would a real world shape help, hinder or be impossible?

I have completed a couple loops on this track, but not very many, and none gracefully!

In a general sort of way, yes. But if you roll off a cliff you'll notice your truck will right itself before hitting the ground. That can cause problems in a loop. The shape of roller coasters might be of help, I haven't tried it, but I had enough trouble making perfect circles let alone eliptical loops, hehe.

You really need to take a look at this technology -- it's amazing what they can do with computers now! :)
