what is the expo

As you probably already know im fairly new to the mtm community. The expo sounds like a big deal, so can someone fill me in on what it is.

Imagine an MTM2 "Car Show" if you will.

When we have one, no matter what kind of add-ons you make, either tracks or trucks, you make the best thing you've ever done, and enter it in the Expo, then we judge each one in a certain catagory or skill level, and winners are established.

It's a chance for builders to really show off and show what they can do.

The Expo 2005 isn't really even open yet.

The deadline is August 6, 2006. We (by "we," I mean the people making it happen, because I am not part of the project) are currently working on the upload system and figuring out the rules.

by the way, greenday19 That name is because the band Greenday or what? blink182 is SO much better than 'em! green day makes me get asleep and fall on my food when I see on MTV the video "Boulevard of broken dreams" blink-182 rocks dude!

Yes the expo is an online display of trucks/tracks.

I kept a link for the last expo in 2003, but the address is the old RHINOCEROS.COM address which no longer is valid.

Phin, is the Expo 2003 page(s) still up?

heh-heh...Too bad I was a judge instead of a regular entry....I honestly feel I could have won the scratch-built catagory with <A href="http://mtm2.com/~trucks/trucks.cgi?search=cherry+bomb&truck=on">Cherry Bomb</A>.

Maybe we should have a judge's catagory this time, where the regular entry members can vote on the best judge-built machines this time. I'm sure RF can appreciate that suggestion.
