MTM1 Sites

Post by HockeyUltima »

Is there any good websites that offer add ons for MTM1? I saw at one time that there was a conversion for MTM 2 trucks into MTM1. Where can I find that? I just need a site that has trucks and tracks for MTM1 for download. I would really appriciate the help.

Thanks Phineus. A question though. Why doesn't MTM2 trucks work for MTM1?

Also, how did those trucks in MTM2 get converted to 1? I have some trucks that I want to see in MTM1. How do I get them there?

They are not backward compatible.

I'm not going through this again. You don't listen and you don't respond to what you're told. Please just take each of them apart and adjust the differences.

Converting MTM2 trucks into MTM trucks.

BinEdit, a pod utility, a text editor and the ability to use all three are required.

Code: Select all

truckName
Bigfoot
truckModelName
bigfoot.bin
tireModelName
wheel13.bin

Instrument Cluster
powerbig
Wave File
bigfoot.wav
bigfoot1.wav
bigfoot2.wav
Using that MTM1 trk file as a template:
Paste the "MTM2 truckName" under "truckName".
Paste the "truckModelBaseName" under "truckModelName", adding ".bin"
Place the tire model name under "tireModelName", including ".bin"
Replace the rest of the file with the block of data that consists of the Axle/tire data, Scrape point data, Instrument Cluster and Wave File.

Save the TRK, build the pod and it's ready to roll.

Notes:
You can only use one tire model (double-sided).
You must change all model face types to standard MTM1 (no 'shiny' faces).
You can't change the default axle.
Some trucks may not display or convert well.
