Half a backdrop???

Post by xtrackted »

I recently changed the bottom HALF of my backdrop for Isla Nublar to a more suitable texture that blends with the textures of the track more. In fact, I took the main ground texture of my track and extended it into a 256x256 texture that fades nicely to give the illusion of depth.

My question... Since I had changed the texture, I go into the game, and the faces where I had applied the texture are gone! The mirror effect comes back because the bottom half of the backdrop isn't there, and it's annoying me to no end.

I had to split the bottom half from the top to apply these textures, could that have anything to do with it?

If you are using binedit v2 then you just need to save as backdrop.

If you are using an earlier version of binedit, and I have no idea why anybody would, then you need to set the group magic number then save as backdrop.

I'm not sure what you mean, but no, you shouldn't have needed to split anything apart from the bin.
