Has Anyone Ever Made A Bigfoot V?
Has Anyone Ever Made A Bigfoot V?
Just wondered if there's a Bigfoot V truck been made for MTM

Yeah, it can't really be done correctly. No matter what you do, the tires will always sink way into the ground.
That is the whole reason why I've never made this truck before, nor want to again. BF5 and 7 are impossible. They can be made, but they'll never look right in the game.
I made BF5 once, then scrapped it. The body was perfect, the paint was too, but because of that sinking thing, I deleted it.
Good luck if you want to give it a shot.

Just a note, Dennis Taft also has a Bigfoot 5 on his site. I think it's only a repaint and mild touch-up of Weeeeee's version, but the colours are better if that's what turned you off (nothing can be done about the tyres however).

Are you suggestings changing the texture depths? I know for ST tracks they increase it so that the normal floating will float at the right height to appear like its on the terrain. I don't think it'd be possible to go negative. The only thing I can think of is to add invisible ground boxes above the entire track, which doesn't seem like anything anyone would want to do.
No, imagine a wheel, and a solid axle. Move the wheel up, and the axle stays in thesame place, the wheel spins out of round.
That's what happens. But I wish the game had the capability so the trucks makers can adjust for such things. I too made Bigfoot 5, but it sinks into the ground, so I never released it. Which sucks.

you could just make a scale bigfoot5 where u scale the body to the wheels? make the wheels the same size but thinner and make the body smaller. see what i'm saying.
If you move the wheels up (closer to the truck) it is the same as moving the body down (closer to the wheels) - which doesnt help.
