3DS Models

Post by Phineus »

Now that BinEdit opens 3DS files, I wondered if anybody thought to import ready made models into mtm. For example, like some of the free ones at 3dcafe.

And if you didn't know, in BinEdit

File > Import > 3ds file

You'll be prompted for textures when opening, then you just have to map it.

I haven't really tried the 3DS import feature, but in truth, I've had access to 3DS models for years with Zmodeler....

I'll take a look at some of the military vehicles on that site you posted....a few might be useful.

I haven't tried it yet either, but I've heard that they are very high poly counts, so I choose to stay away, my stuff is bad enough...

But, here is some more...
