You might need a new keyboard. They do wear out.

Does that happen when you hit a particular key or just any?
If i understand, you're driving using arrows on keyboard and occasionnally one key lock in?
Perhaps it's just the repeat timing set on your keyboard. if so, you can maybe help that by changing the keyboard settings.
Normally, you can check it out from control panel / keyboard /
There should be an adjustment that change how long the key need to be pressed before repeating itself. just try to lower that a bit and see what it does.

the problem occurs most of the times when i have internet explorer windows open. especially when i receive pop ups. sometimes i have no problem with it. example: when i play a game, the first 3 tracks there is no problem, and all in the sudden the steering does weird. its very hard to finish a lap under these conditions. when i deconnect and reconnect instead, the problem is gone! maybe i cant explain it very good because my english isnt very good.

ill reduce the repeat speed jumper, but i wont notice it in 1 day, ill see the difference in a week. hopefully this works, thanks for the tip.

Hmm, not sure but my guess whould be that you are getting a new pop up ad every few minutes. When that happens depending on the size of the add (graphics..etc) could be distrupting your band rate with your connection to the game servers. This could cause some packet loss.
Might want to close IE after you have connected to the zone lobby.

Said like that it look more like a lag problem. Indeed when you're on a 56k connection the arrival of a files such as animated gif (advertizement) will sure affect the data transmission and reception needed so much by a multiplayer game.

Like Kruzr said, after getting in the room close all other EI windows. There should be only two left, the game room and main.

Hope this help.

Hey, I found a solution for this problem. The problem was caused by the activity of the internet explorer. Like i said opening a web page or receiving pop ups. I found a program that traces the bad pages/adresses. Once they are traced you can put them in "quarantine". Then they will never be able to come on your screen again unless you release them from quarantine. This will not be necessary because it traces the ones with the the highest risk level.

This program is called "Lavasoft" add ware. You can install it for free, just use google to find it!

Its a great program for every internet user. Well I hope that someone else could find this usefull to.

Greetings
