Installing and using RawAct.8bi

Here's what I know. Copy the file to the File Formats folder.

Then, when you open a file, select file type "RawAct" instead of just "Raw" type.

Sorry, it doesn't work in PSP (any version).

I have tried all that over and over again and i just cant get it to work. Does it work in Photoshop 4? or do you need Photoshop 5 for this plugin?

If you've tried all that and it doesn't work, then it's probably a safe bet it wont work in photoshop 4. Bummer.
