While investigating unpredictable [url=javascript:void(0)]glowing faces[/url] and [url=javascript:void(0)]glowing terrain[/url] as well as a [url=javascript:void(0)]glowing[/url]-[url=javascript:void(0)]backdrop[/url], I unexpectedly came across a gold mode wire frame view.

Since this is the [url=000622.html]second time[/url] in as many days that I've seen this, I wondered if anybody else has come across something like this. Typically, gold mode's ctrl+b will show solid boxes. Check that. I just looked at the gold mode page and it says it cycles through wire frame, solid boxes, and off. But I've never seen this before and can't deliberately get it to appear. That said, since it's supposed to be normal behavior, I think I'll stop talking to myself now, lol.

edit. Got it. The wire frame doesn't always work in full screen hardware mode. As soon as I switched to software, viola: pretty [url=javascript:void(0)]wire frame[/url] boxes.

Um....what are you using to get that look?

I know this isn't really related to what your talkin about. But I never seen a track showed like that.

Oh, I thought I was clearer. Hmm. Try software mode (if you want to do it on purpose), pitch black weather, type gold, hit Ctrl+B. I discovered all this by accident.

It's documented in winterkill's famous gold mode doc.
I have found u can only see it in software mode.
it toggles thru 3 settings, none,wire,and solid.
