Lights in online racing

Post by Trans_Am »

I have been testing online racing for the last day, and while I can see the lights on other trucks, nobody can see mine. Why is this? It has 6 red strobes and 2 clear steady running lights. Not even the steady burning lights appear, which are the same as the headlights on the other trucks, just without cones (they use headlite.raw)

Please help

But, we all exchanged trucks before we started. BigDog even took a pic of it during an online race and it showed up as my truck, with no lights

Type L for lights.

Turn Lights on in graphic options.

The weather was set to rain, the lights come on automatically.. I was looking right at the truck when he took the pic, yes they were on. He said he had the D3D option checked. Other ppl said they could see my lights. Could the patch have a role here? Some of the ppl i did this with didn't have the patch.

... the lights [are supposed to] come on automatically.

>> Other ppl said they could see my lights.

There you go. Nothing wrong with your truck or the game. Your friend needs to give his set up a good going over - from drivers to configuration, from os to the game.

>> Could the patch have a role here?

Absolutely not.
