You'll need a paint program too. You can use MS Paint, but there's many many better ones.
Paint Shop Pro www.jasc.com
Photoshop www.adobe.com (I think)
Photopaint www.corel.com
But you'll need to take some time to learn how to use them. Check MIYH's notes on this site for using Photoshop, as well as Alpine's notes for using PSP.

Hey Andy I love Corel... I've been using it since version 3 and I think Corel rocks! The best thing to come out of Canada since ....er (I'm asking the family and it seems to be "moose turds")
I know about Corel's probs - I think they got too big when they got into the Ventura stuff, shouldv'e stuck to what they were good at - a kick-ass graphics program, and expanded on that. Oh well, at least Bill Gates don't own 'em (yet).
