Traxx First Timer....Here we go!

Post by TwistedMetal »

Fearful I am. I will be embarking on my first track in a few days. I'm presently on my way to Halifax, Nova Scotia for a visit. While I'm away from my home computer, I've been reading and printing pages from the TRAXX School and scanning through the MTMG's models and such.
This will be my first attempt at making a track since I bought MTM2 over 2 years ago and made my first truck a year ago. With my website soon following with the help of Sleeper. The Monster Television Madness contest sparked my interest in even thinking that I could do this project.
I've got the truck making down..even though I still cannot seem to create my own models with Bin Edit. Lack of time I suppose.
So my question to all of you that have made tracks in the past is...

What in your opinion, makes a good track?

(Bear in mind that I am a total NOVICE to track making so please be kind Image )

Have you finished your traxx school track yet? If not, just go ahead with that and don't worry about the rest. Once you do that, then I've been keeping tabs on what various people have had to say.

But your own eye is usually best. Find the tracks you like, and then disect them to see how they're made. That'll get you on the road to track making.
