The Secret MTM2 Truck?
Sorry I didnt catch this thread earlier. There is no hidden truck. Dont you think that after everyone of the long timers went through the entire game, cd, demo, betas, ect.. that it would have been found by now?
I also remember some of the folks who went to the Las Vegas thing a couple of years back, that they confirmed there was going to be one but was left out at the last minute.
BTW The truck was no truck after all. It was said to have been a Camero.

I do remember hearing on the main MTMBBS that the truck was removed at the '11th hour' due to licensing difficulties. Maybe they couldn't get the license from Chevrolet to use the Camaro?
Hac, the Patriot might've been the secret truck, considering there's a pic in the manual, and there is an MTM1 version of it(By TRI), but I think they might've wanted to make it downloadable truck, like the first one. I bet there was virtually no demand for it(It was the ONLY Chevy shortbed for MTM, however. Looked like the cut part of the back off the bin), so they never released the Patriot. Too bad, when both versions look pretty cool in the game.

No secert. The Patriot was TRI's test truck just as it was in MTM 1. Screen captures for the manual need to be taken during development. Just might be the TRI knew that most MTM'ers are well aware of the truck, it was downloadable from TRI's site for MTM1, so they had no fear of putting a shot of it in the book.
If you really want to know what happened to the secert truck try contacting MS. They where the ones who pushed TRI into releasing the game before it was completly done.

Actually, I do believe there ARE zombies somewhere in the Graveyard track. However, TRI has undoubtedly hidden it somewhere in the center of the track out of sight (and hard to find in the rain). After all, a graveyard may even be a "friendly" place on a nice, sunny day. But if only rain is allowed, it may mean that they are hiding something. I'll check the track out in Traxx to find out about this.

That zombie thing may (possibly) have been from the development version. The Graveyard used to be the secret track.
There's some cool stuff in the manual. Stuff that has never really been deciphered. If you look on Page 6 in the races screen picture you'll notice that the tracks have the grey logos but not the same ones as the newer game version. The summit rumbles are simply named Summit1, 2 & 3 instead of their full names.
Something to sort this all out. Look on the very fist page after the cover. Raed what's in the white box. Quote: " Information in this document is subject to change without notice". Hope that helps.
edit>> for anyone wondering which tracks the in-game shots of those trucks in the help file are on, they are all on Farm Road 29 except The Outsiders. That is taken on Sidewinder Canyon. To find where, go to the camp site where you unlock Torture Pit and drive off the cliff that the bridge crosses.

I just found some more cool stuff. Go into Word and open Monster.exe. Do a find and look for .trk. Do that until it finds fdx1.trk and fdx1.bin. I have problems with MTM1 saying it can't find fdx1.bin. There is also cdx1.trk and dgx1.trk. It says these are the default Ford, Chevy and Dodge trucks. But are those 3 .trks in the game?
Also after that keep searching for .trk until you get the listed of trucks in the game. Clearly listed twice in there is patriot.trk. And more. There is a line saying: "Restart the game to drive Chuck's car as a Monster Truck. The torture room is open. Restart the game to enter.".

unfortunately all of this was explored years ago to no avail...
and trust me...90% of everything in the EXE is garbage left over from pre-mtm1 development stages, typical microsoft fashion to leave all the garbage behind....i highly doubt there is a secret truck..i was the one that originally started this thread so dern long ago now hehe

if there was another secret somthing someoen would have found it by now from just driving around randomly. either that or wouild have seen a box just sitting somplace in one of the stock tracks like ythe box that opens torture.

eeek, who brought this up again? lol

just type in 'C-H-U-C-K' during gameplay, and the message flashes for a split second.
