Track - The Grate Race
Maker - Team Death
Genre - Circuit

Set in deepest outer space, you drive on grate-like surfaces where you can see all around you in all directions. Spaceships zoom around, occasionally breaking the threshold of the driving area, so be on the look out for them. The number of crafts that travel below the "road" really gives you the feeling of floating/driving in the air. Should you happen to fall off a grate you sense the bottomlessness of the environment, but the helicopters will right you easily enough. Definitely worth the download. Oh, and, is that Maxx Headroom?

Yep that is Max Headroom greeting you at the corners! A really interesting track made with no terrain! It seems to be constructed entirely of models (the "grate" mentioned in the title). Set at various angles to create a "road" surface that has enough changes in direction and elevation to keep you busy. A couple of nice jumps through hoops, the spaceships whizzing by and some interesting sounds make this track another TeamDeath winner. Well worth downloading.

You have to be careful though.

I fell into a spot where calling the chopper didn't help.

Instead of putting me back on the track, it dropped me under it where I couldn't run the race.

Not a bad track. Actually good. It maked me dizzy at the start, when i first ran it, but i liked the senzation. Yes, it is a worth d/l.

well if there's one thing i have to admire about Team Death is that he/they? certainly push the limits of creativity and imagination when it comes to traxx and this track is no exception i think he just created a whole new track catagory with this one that George Lucas would just love.

lap times are around 1:50 and 4 of the 7 comp trucks ran low 1:50's and the slowest ran 2:03 thats pretty darn good for a offline race..

WOW, whata "grate" track!

It is set in outer space and you run the whole race on this grate. 1 improvement sould be made. Make the grate more narrow, it is TOO easy to stay on!
