I notice that transparency for the new material types is not being handled quite right by your engine.

On the GMC 1500, you can also see parts from inside the truck showing through faces with (modified) glass material type. Note, my faces use cutout (alphatest) transparency rather than blend, in case that makes a difference.
thanks for the heads up. I'll fix it and add forward/backward navigation.

added forward backwards navigation with up/down arrow keys and fixed the glass material bug. i also reworked the wireframe view to mimic JSPOD texture+wireframe rendering.

  • Added full MTM2 truck-light rendering, including flare sprites and textured beam cones.
  • Added support for headlights, roof light bars, brake lights, reverse lights, spinning beacons, and timed blinkers.
  • Added individual controls for light types and beam visibility. Controls unavailable for the selected truck are disabled automatically.
  • Added generated fallback flare and beam textures when the original light artwork is unavailable.

  • Added support for the classic DirectX 5 tinted-window hack used by legacy MTM2 trucks.
  • Fixed the transparent windows using collapsed UV color-key filtering. <- the fancy name of the hack. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windo ... -filtering
  • Improved RAW color-key detection for custom palettes whose transparent entry is not pure RGB black.
  • Improved texture smoothing with mipmaps and anisotropic filtering, reducing distant texture shimmer.
  • Added smoothed BIN vertex normals while preserving sharp body edges.

Does this mean you've parsed the CPR car files then? I'd love to play around with them but figuring it out felt above my skill level.

yes, specifically the .CMD files which are just multipart 3D models defined in plain-text.

Here's a description of both .CAR and .CMD files: https://github.com/juanputrerasm/JSTruc ... _FORMAT.md

Awesome! I'll have to play around with that when I have more time.
