KPOD 2 released
The world's lightest and fastest POD authoring tool.
Designed for modders working across multiple Terminal Reality games.

Some of the changes from version 1:
BIN model viewer (new):
native OpenGL 3.3 preview: textures, _N normal maps, material/reflection blocks, lighting, wireframe, grid, orbit/zoom/strafe, clickable texture thumbnails, parser diagnostics. Animated BINs play their frames. Optional Software mode with Mesa3D drivers.

New formats:
TGA decoder; HD art (PNG/TGA beside RAW, _N/_AO/_DTL/_MASK map roles named in the entry list); CommPatch .SI2, .TXV and the disabled .SIX/.SIY/.TRX.

CPOD-like Track & Truck disabling:
Disable / Enable in Game renames .TRK↔.TRX, .SIT↔.SIX, .SI2↔.SIY without touching payloads.

Advanced RAW palette resolution:
bundled MTM1/CPR/Hellbender/TV-F3 palettes, the POD1 directory-field palette name, and a fixed ranking: same-name ACT, recorded name, archive METALCR2, archive VGA, bundled METALCR2. Differently-named ACTs are offered but never chosen automatically.

MOD playback:
optional libopenmpt add-on, same transport as WAV. Download here.

Increased Performance:
lazy entry reads and streaming writes, so a 51 MB POD opens in ~1 ms at 709 KB.

Reworked UI:
toolbar rework, drawn icons, DPI-aware dialog layout, screen fitting.
