Hello again, haven't been by here in a while. Haven't really been doing any mtm2 related edited recently either. I have been trying over time to get these textures correct and have ended up redoing them almost 5 times. (Actually on the 5th time) Have a look, this is the basic idea, but I am making a version that I won't have to mirror to turn in the opposite dirrection. The picture is from traxx.

edit: Phin if the image is too big let me know and i'll size it down.

What do you think of these?
I actually tried the template thing. The tutorials you guys come up with are amazing. Very influencial, I got the idea partially from that and partially from looking at the texture work of others. I think I finally have the textures done though. Now I gotta actually try and start the actual track that I was going to use these for.

When i first found slice 60 i did a lot of this kind of stuff. I had better ways to do it (faster) but they would be impossible to explain (plus u would need PS6) - so in a lot of ways these tutorials are better because the common man can comprehend them.
One of the results - a track that has 400 custom textures (20x20) cause i didnt bother to use stuff that would be redundant:

Later i made better stuff but never botherd to use it in a track cause i really dont make stuff for mtm2 much anymore - i'm more interested in the techniques and technical aspects of the program.

When I first played with slice60 I took a screen shot of my desktop, sliced it up and laid it out in traxx... this screen shot is two years old and is unedited... I had the trucks do laps around it lol

I also did a couple close ups to demonstrate how well it created a perfectly seamless carpet, here and here
