Website getting blocked

Post by Bjcon215 »

Hey everyone. Something’s up with the security certificate for the main website. I can still access the forum, obviously, but the website and any downloads from the forum are getting blocked by my browsers or my isp. Specifically, it says "SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length".

Is it still happening? I've actually used my phone on the website today at work, so not even at home wifi and it was fine.

Yes, I get the “An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made” screen.

Trying to search online for this there doesn't seem to be a quick fix other than trying one thing at a time. I rebooted the server and will look into it when I wake up. I have not touched the server at all so maybe there's something with the SSL renewals.

Try seeing if it works by using http://mtm2.com (not https)

Ugh... your ISP might be blocking mtm2 all of a sudden. I ran tests between mtm2.com and forum.mtm2.com, they are set up as two virtual servers so while they do resolve as two entities, their settings are the same. There's no change between the two of them and every test comes out clean on both of them.

Run these from the windows terminal and tell me what it says

nslookup mtm2.com
nslookup www.mtm2.com
nslookup forum.mtm2.com

Additionally, can you use your phone, disconnect from wifi and try to connect to mtm2.com and see if it works?
