Experimenting with MTM 1...

Specifically the art style. I've been thinking about doing a whole truck pack for MTM 1 because I like the brighter, more cartoony graphics the original has. But first I'm trying to match the art more closely. I'm getting there, but it's a surprising chore and I don't know if I'll follow through without more help. But I figured this may be of interest anyway - I'll take some constructive criticism here.

As I said on Draggers, looks cool. And didn't the MTM1 trucks have one texture for each part of the body?
Admin of the MTM2 Draggers facebook page, find it here!

Cale, I love you! I've been hoping for a resurgence in MTM1 for a long time now. Count me in man, I'll be doing my part of MTM1 truck making.
Fantastic CC repaint, I once tried to repaint the stock one orange to make it look like the one in the demo movie.
And yes PM Customs, each part of the body has it's own texture in MTM1.

Looks fantastic Cale, any chance of a public release?
Hey Phin... any chance of an "MTM1" category in the truck uploads page?

I wonder if its possible to make more complex truck models on MTM1.

Indeed it may be possible; here's a truck called "77 Snow" from KingDave's Truck O Rama site.

It has more detailed wheels than the standard trucks and also a chassis. Take a look at some of the other trucks on there, there are many custom BUILT trucks for download. (Note the Hummer on set 1.)

You can (someone made MTM2 trucks fit into MTM1), but other than fixing egregious errors in truck design I wasn't going to stray from the MTM1 model or art style.

I'd like to do a retro truck pack from the Tuff Trax TNT days, and maybe some USHRA trucks. For whatever reason the vibe of MTM1 makes me think of the old stuff.
