Hey guys can I put lights on models?

Im going to make a a train corssing signal, with real blinking LIGHTS - not red flashing circles. But I want to know if it can ever be done. Can actual lights be placed on objects?

No you cannot put real flashing lights on the crossing. It will not work.... take a look at my track Skull Run and see what i did for my rotating lights and that might give you an idea....
But in working on that track i tried a whole bunch of stuff to see if i could minipulate the only real light in the game and i came up with nothing...
