Ok, I have a real prob here...
As we all know, Monster Truck Madness 2 uses .wav files for music (whos stupid idea was that), and I have a midi (.mid) file I want to use. So, I've got no problem coverting it , but, when I convert it, its says its not a proper wave (.wav) file... I think this is because it's more than 60 seconds...
But anyway, does anyone know how to porperly covert a midi file thats about 1 minute, 30 seconds into a wav file so that it works and can be used for MTM2 music?
EDIT> NOTE: I cannot shorten it or it sounds really crappy.

Open the wav in sound recorder or any other wav editor you like, then convert it to 8 bit, 11 kHz, mono.
See here for more details.
edit: doh, I should learn how to spell and type.

Thanks, but I think you may have misunderstood my problem...
I have a .mid file of the music I want, dollet.mid, which is 1m 30s long. I used Windows Media Player to covert Dollet.mid into Dollet.wav
But, when I try to play Dollet.wav, it says 'This is not a proper wave format file'. So, where can I get a program that converts them properly?

I've never understood these comments on wav files longer than 60 secs. What's the deal?
When I went to college, I took radio broadcasting. All of our sound editing was done on PC's using wavs. I quite frequently would end up with wavs in excess of 30 minutes (some things would run for over an hour.)
Each of the stock music tracks in MTM2 are over a minute as well.
What is all this about the 60 secs?
