I had forgotten about that. i remember people saying that traxx would have a problem realizing things for track-making if you didn't do that, didn't know if it applied to binedit as well.

TJ, if you're able to figure out how to do that, please try that and see, cause that may very well fix your problem.

You missed something. There are 5291 trucks on this site that work, so the methods described do in fact work. Sometimes what happens is the file extensions get twisted around. Have you unchecked the "hide file extensions for known file types" checkbox in folder options?

The thing that prompted me to suggest file extensions is the TRK file. If he worked in notepad, it may have added the TXT extension onto the trk file.

And it didn't do that, just did not have .TRK on it. The file just said, for example, BIGFOOT. When u highlight it, it is a TRK file.

Thats that whole file extention thing, clicking that box will fix that. Its not a big deal, but it helps to see what yer working with...
