change drives

Post by levi »

How do I get the track im working on to change where it goes after I write the pod? - from D drive to C drive or viseasersa. I have two <strike>downloads</strike> installs of the game on my pc. The C drive's for tracks im working on, and the D drive is for tracks that I download to try out.

Couldn't you just copy the pod file after you've created it from the C drive across to D?

Edit: When you go to File menu -> Write Pod... Traxx asks for a location to save to. So???

no didnt mean make another copy i know how to do that thanks what i meant was when i put the view pod files up and i want a track out of the c drive after i get the track i want for my modles or textures i close that part out and say i want to look up something else on that track i have to go through the list, c drive/ program file/ micosort games/ monster truck madness 2/ then it opens track files. i have to do this every time i open view pod files because it puts the d drive back on automaticaly as the list of tracks you are seeing instead of the c drive you were just on

Oh, I see. (sorry about that, lol)

I just tried it and it remembers the last folder used.

I did view pod file, then closed traxx. Next time I opened traxx and did view pod file, it went to the same place.

I used the most recent beta version from Mal's site.

I was still talking about Traxx. It's on the same page there with binedit, only scroll down a ways. Binedit is for the models. Traxx is for track making.
