Odd C-Pod error

Post by Cale »

I'm helping JR Seasock make a truck and Cpod has apparently decided to give up on him. He got this error (copied from AIM):

error number: 62 error description: input past end of file
error source : cpod

So, in the great MTM error tradition...WTF???

There is probaby an error in the trk file someplace. I can remember getting a few oddities when trying to load mtm1 trks. Maybe set the light count to 0 to see if it loads, or try and open it in binedit. I'm not sure about how robust binedit is for handling errors but it might show where the errors are - snafus show up red instead of black in binedit. Once you get that maybe you can track it down. Either that, or extract the trk again and start over - which shouldn't be too hard.

Note. The end of file message usually happens when a program is trying to read something but has run out of file. So, for trks, that would be like trying to read 10 lights when there are only nine in the trk. The trick is to find out what is causing the over run.
