Opera web browser for free - act fast

Post by Link »

Opera Software is temporarily offering the paid version of its browser for free, as part of its 10th anniversary celebration, the company announced Tuesday.

Complimentary registration codes for Opera 8 are being given away until midnight Tuesday. The license is good for the life of that particular browser, said Michelle Valdivia, a marketing communications manager for Opera.

Opera 8, which launched in April, normally sells for $39 per license.

Free registration codes are available until midnight CET (GMT +1) on Wednesday 31st of August.

Sweet; I religiously use opera all the time. Thanx for the heads up.

If you use IE I highly reccomend that you switch to opera; It's much more secure and has many more features.

The reg code was the part that was for a day only. I got that at the time, and saved those notes to help remember what it all meant ;-)

hey thanx for copying your codes. I didnt save mine when i went to get them. Didnt think i'd be installing opera on linux. lol. but here it is. Got SLackware Linux running on my laptop. Spent most of the day configuring wifi. Works like a charm.

So i'll be using that Linux Intel Code up there. Thanx.
