How does a wav work in the track

Trying to see if it is something I would like to do in my track. Loaded a wav in the track components {music} but when I go into the game I cant hear it. Is there more to it? Thanks

you are going to need to increase the volume of the wav. I think instructions are under odds and ends in mtmg pages. Not sure if thats the right one, but I know it has something to do with the game making the sounds volume lower than it sounds in the wav player.

Yep, volume. And the right format. 11khz 8-bit mono

So do I need a program to change the numbers? I tried the MTMG ODD'S AND END'S. I can change the volume and its a 8 bit but twice the size it is. But I done understand the rest.
