My Brother grabbed NFS Underground last night and we played the wheels off it, it looks and plays fantastic. My PC is only an AMD Duron 1100 w/Radeon 9000 and it runs silky smooth.
If you are in the market for a good racing game its worth the 35 bucks, at least thats what he payed. Also this time all versions are the same, EA seems to have learned from their last mistake.
Ok shamless NON MTM plug over...Are you still here? Get out!
(NON MTM) NFS Underground is very sweet...

Still alive and rumored to be somewhere in oregon?
On an MTM2 website... amazing.
It's chock full of Ricers anyway, if they would get some real cars in there, ones made here, past and present, then I'd care, but till they lose the Jap Junk, I couldn't care less.
How can anyone say, Toyota, or Mazda, and think of fast?
Pfft, fast is Buick, Chevy, Ford and Mopar, Olds, Pontiac, and even Caddy for that matter, nuff said.

Btw KD, i haven't got it yet. Do plan on doing it HOWEVER after playing the demo and judging by the demo i can say that the racing part is total pish.
The cool part is the customizeable thingies and the drag racing, which is really awsome.
Still, on PC the best racing game is NFS Porsche.

Hey D2S, speaking of the devil
P.S. There is something very wrong with this game. It needs a fps limiter. It's so dependent on fps's that the higher the fps are the faster the game goes, in some cases i get around 100fps and the game becomes almost undriveable. I drive blindly when that happens.[/url]

Isn't 188mph through the city enough? It can get higher but you really need a loooong straight and no traffic for that.

Too much stuff taken from the consoles to the PC.Phineus wrote:No arguing the art work looks good. Lotta junk on the screen tho.
But it doesn't get any worse then this...
Lots of cool art work in the game, looks like they actually knew what they were doing this time.
