RTS Stock TC

Post by gravefan »

I know that most of the mtm2 community dose not like rts trucks but a very nice mtm2 player has taken every stock truck and made it into an rts truck. So I just wanted to post and give a huge thanks to Buck Mulligan, without him and his efforts the people that do like the rts trucks would only have the 6 or so ever made to play with. Now we have alot more! Thanks so much. [dance]

Buck Mulligan? Now who on earth could that be?

I guess this means we need a truck review forum, eh?

Hmm...a "buck" can be passed and represents an obligation or responsibility, a "mulligan" is slang term for a second chance. It would seem the buck passed to Mulligan and he gave the trucks a second chance. Now would somebody mind telling me what the heck RTS is? :x I've looked at 40 something acronyms for RTS and several web pages and still can't figure it out, maybe I should mount the pod, eh.

Trucks on which the suspension is over-flexible compared to the stock game suspension. Near first mention I heard was here. Until recently, that's all I knew, but then a few posts on vales clarified matters. Pitbul is credited as being the originator of the trend.

Or you could just look at the picture

RTS - or "real truck suspension: (I disagree)

Escentially the center of gravity is set above the truck instead of in it's middle.

This makes it tip easily in turns, and tilt when accellerating or braking.

It ALSO makes the truck feel like it has a heavy load in the back that's 40 feet high! I hate it myself.....I find nothing realistic about it.....kids do, but kids haven't driven cars & trucks much if at all. I know I've never driven a real monster, but neither have they.

I'm a "fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants" driver...I go by touch and feel........these feel terrible to me.....If you like 'em, more power to you.
