I have no idea about the invalid face type, but I'm guessing it was a memory error or just one of those bugs. Textures mapped to the edge don't work... 2 pixels, I think, so that's explainable and repeatable.

Congrats on the new baby! And I feel like an idiot. I had downloaded the source months back, and noticed that he'd fixed the problem with the .TRK import. Ooooops.

Alright! Great work! I may get flamed for this, but what about the .TRK file MTM2 incompatibility?

Correction: Not fear of corruption, presence of corruption. It seems to double the models up, not just the textures. I never liked it, but on the rare occasions that I used it - usually for checking animation - it ALWAYS messed up any future models.

Went on it again, with D_O this time. Actually, I went alone, because our combined weight is way too high. It was a real blast, and I managed to get 'er upside down a few times http://mtm2.com/~forum/pages/smile.gif

Heck, it'd be easy to make a tiny program to change the weather mask in the pod each time the game is run.

Unfortunately, EZBin is an incomplete program, and doesn't work right. It's not supported by the MTMG, and I haven't heard of a single succesful session with it. Sorry to disappoint you.

Yes Dave, I'm talking about the redraw time. I've done a fair bit of graphics work myself, and most of my stuff used at least one offscreen buffer to draw to for each update. My thought is that if OP doesn't release his old buffer handles, each one would take up a bit of memory. Using Norton System ...

Sure can! http://www.viaregio.de/pieper/index.shtml is the main site. He says on the bottom that he's moved the BINedit site and released the source. Click on there, and you're laughing (likely accompanied by cheers from the MTM community)

Good stuff, Dave!
I have no idea about the NT leaks, but I do know that the memory leak is graphics-related. It's the worst with the 2d views on (I bet it's related to that flicker - allocating a new buffer without releasing an old one?), and pretty much disappears with the 3d only option. It can ...

What you're forgetting is just how much fun it is to do wheelies, go up or down hills, and get 'er upside down. Just before our ride was up, I was frantically trying to flip it over. It's a tad odd, because there's a button on the side of the steering wheel that both takes over the driving duties ...
