And, instead of a road and a map, the checkpoints would tell you where to go next!!! And if you don't know your geography, YOU LOSE!!! HAHAHAHA!
although... if you DID have to go across the world, the water should be shallow...

Half a backdrop???
I recently changed the bottom HALF of my backdrop for Isla Nublar to a more suitable texture that blends with the textures of the track more. In fact, I took the main ground texture of my track and extended it into a 256x256 texture that fades nicely to give the illusion of depth.

Ahhh, COPE, I was just reading that line myself, and it's confusing....
It's my OPINION that the difference between good tracks and bad tracks <b><u>SHOULD</u></b> be a matter of preference.
Really, if I were in charge of this site, MAYBE 12 or 13 of these tracks would make it to the d/l page... I ...

Yeah, i guess Alt. bias makes a big difference. Personally, I like tracks that have a little darkness to them, and you can give the objects and terrain a little shadow if you wanna keep the sun at an angle.
Also, start making tracks just for yourself, not for download... you'll find that it gives ...

A mock-up miniature world with satellite textures and proportional terrain... 8)
You'd need a pretty weird projection of the world, tho, to fit a spherical shape onto a square layout, but the grid is inherently a sphere anyway, right?

I'd like somebody to post on the garage times that my best time with this track is 3:56.07.
I also have to say that I love the picture with this track, check it out and d/l it! It's a moderately big d/l, but ur not downloading 2 megs of music, ur gettin' ur d/l's worth in textures and models.

This fixes almost every single track that Traxx has messed up. ANYTIME you need custom textures... ANYTIME...

In-game problem after purging.
Just recently, I finished up on a track I was building. It had always worked in the game, and then I purged textures and models... immediately after doing so, I podded the file and went back in.
Now it doesn't work!
It says there is a bad texture size: NULL.RAW.
What is going on?! :x
