Re: Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.48 - and we have Dx11
I just tested the latest version. Tree shadows do look better this time.
can we add to the wishlist having the game telling us which POD file is missing from pod.ini instead of just asking us to insert the MTM2 CD and fixing the rumble selection crash in the Track selection window? or is it just me

Re: Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.48 - and we have Dx11
For those who podded MTM1 stock tracks after other custom pods instead of stock pods and had a issue about TWA backdrop, pod MTM1GAME.pod at the very first of the list right after stock pods using pod program like cowpod.
My GAME.POD is podded after the stock PODs as well, so that's ...

Re: JPodman - Advanced POD mounting utility
Update: v1.0.3c Added conflict detection and tagging for mounted PODs.

JPodman now tags mounted PODs with [Conflict: filename.SIT/TRK] when duplicate track/truck file names are detected, including POD List Manager warnings.

Re: Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.48 - and we have Dx11
The always facing models are... I don't know a good fix, I think the compromise has to be as is. You can try and have them have a fix shadow that doesn't rotate but then it looks weird with the rotating tree. Or you can have them NOT cast shadows but then it's going to look weird with everything ...

Re: Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.48 - and we have Dx11
I finally got to test the patch and had no issues so far, smooth 160+ fps on 1080p with my AMD Ryzen + NVIDIA setup.
on my Enocell city track the trucks are still tied to the track palette it seems. And how do no-palette textures work?

have you considered using bug tracking software like bugzilla? maybe it can help track issues better than a forum thread
Where do you even know these programs from? You might want to start a development team with Fila and this source code at this stage in that sense, hehe! :D

Not at all, thanks for your feedback.
To answer your comments:
- yes, you need to add necessary system pods to all your lists, you need to treat a list like any other pod.ini file. I guess I can add an option to always include system POD files.

Re: Community Patch Wishlist
My wishlist for the upcoming patch:
MTM1's CD music being converted to a usable .POD, perhaps retroactively fitted alongside the POD containing MTM2's music.
MTM2's reflective water added to MTM1 maps that have water; there was a POD that possibly did this already, but has since been lost to ...

Re: Community Patch Wishlist
Kmaster, I was looking at this openGl thing, it seems that macOS can't go past oenGL 4.1? And I was thinking of using 4.6?
But with that being said, I cannot make a native MTM2 port yet, still needs lots of work to go into it.
After thinking about the long-term direction of the project, I don ...

I just joined LegendOfWii's MTM server, you will find me there. I tried to dm you there, but I had to send you a friend request firstStrikerTheHedgefox wrote: Fri Jul 03, 2026 1:48 pm Yeah, best send a DM so bots don't pick up your name and start adding you. I've hopped onto the MTM2 Community server Ford-chan linked, though.

A little heads up for your "Requirements" description...

OK so I went ahead and updated the version + pod limit detection logic.
JPodman now detects the game executable by looking for monster.exe, then monsterx.exe, in the selected MTM folder.
Version detection works like this:
