Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.49 - Welcome Vulkan the Volcano
Is there some 55 capped truck limit going on? For some reason, having more than 55 addon trucks podded in, then going in to Truck Selection, is when the rest of them don't show up in the menu. This is all running with JPodman BTW.

Fortunately, I'm using NVIDIA overlay to take screenshots from this point onwards.

Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.49 - Welcome Vulkan the Volcano
Vulkan has turned out to be the definitive renderer for me so far, no issues.
Also, I do happen to notice a brief 0.5 blue screen before black to race start, but it still works well as intended.

How about the ability to save one or many favorite computer opponents lists? Also a button to randomize the computer opponents list. In lots of races I'm often racing against the same computer trucks.
That would be a better alternative as opposed to having the game being fully independent from ...

Re: Note for Truck Makers and Beta 0.46 (and onwards)
If DX9/11 truly unlocks texture and vertex limits, then maybe I'd look into partnering with someone like Jet to go full fiberglass on the truck bodies and use his chassis and accessories (engines, shock models, etc.). I'm cautious about doing this, though, since it would still be a lot of work ...

I actually implemented Kmaster's desire to have the spinning trees not cast shadows other than their original big square thing. Let's see how people feel about it. Otherwise they dim according to the weather and whether they are in shade or not (from other objects, caves etc)
Not sure where my ...

Also, I'm rather noobish at modelling besides doing paint schemes on pre existing bodies, but ultimately I would love to attempt it if my limited knowledge around that department doesn't let me down big time.

Ford-chan, sounds like it might be time for you to learn a little BinEdit. 8) I made a little video yesterday of the process, just for whoever might stumble on it on youtube: https://youtu.be/zrPVciqPWVA?si=auiqn5SxyvEdqLxg
But if making some of these updates is something you think you'd want to ...

Looking good mate!
Cale, I hope it's ok.
Honestly, I'm willing to bet money at this stage, that this all within doing Cale a huge favor, considering that he's all out and about attending motorsport events around the states, and having to put family matters (especially his daughter, I hope I've ...

Re: Note for Truck Makers and Beta 0.46 (and onwards)
I took the liberty of updating Cale's TRUCK2.POD for the new dx9 and dx11 betas by changing the model face types so that the tires are now matte and the metal wheels remain shiny (up close): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EHvj7-3E0e0bmZ-LxXv7rQosK4TX5dSQ/view?usp=drive_link

Re: Re: MTM2 Beta Patch 0.48 - and we have Dx11
For those who podded MTM1 stock tracks after other custom pods instead of stock pods and had a issue about TWA backdrop, pod MTM1GAME.pod at the very first of the list right after stock pods using pod program like cowpod.
My GAME.POD is podded after the stock PODs as well, so that's interesting ...

It seems like arena backdrops were been fixed...
expect that TWA one.
You might want to post your system specs on here, there's probably something with them that's causing certain issues to persist, like your end with the Trans World Dome track, and not mine. Hopefully from that point of view ...

Where do you even know these programs from? You might want to start a development team with Fila and this source code at this stage in that sense, hehe!Kmaster wrote: Tue Jul 07, 2026 6:46 pmhave you considered using bug tracking software like bugzilla? maybe it can help track issues better than a forum thread

Transparency issue:
lol - it was fine when I tested and then I did something to fix another transparency issue and it broke the stadiums. This is universal for everyone and it's tied to the reverse Z i was talking about. It's basically fine tuning bit by bit until I find the right value that ...
