ok i deleted WinAntiVirus --- and now Player.pro finally deleted, along with the MTM2 folder!!!! [:P] Let's just hope when i install it this time, it'll work. thanks Slayer.

ok phineus, i searched my Windows Folder for WUAUCLT.EXE and i had two copies - one was 122KB and the other was only 25KB. I deleted the 25KB file and then tried to delete the 122KB file but it gave me the same error as when i try to delete Player.pro. And i did check to see if Player.pro was write ...

i see what you are saying wint, and i try to explain everything to the fullest. I already knew how to use the task manager and that's not the problem.
