Z-M-X

An excellent MX style layout, the track manages to make good use of the original contest track, without ever actually driving on it. The course winds it's way through a town or villa and interweaves with an off course bit that is fun to drive in itself. The jumps are well coordinated and the turns are smooooooth. There are separate high and low roads throughout, making for some good multiplayer racing - especially good since the fast line is harder.

Detailed object placement throughout the track adds to the realism (that takes so much time that it is often overlooked by track makers, but really adds that extra polish when done well). Slow down and take a look at that detail, I'm sure you will see something that will spark some ideas. The whole thing is really a work of art: the track texturing alone is incredible and ZooN shows us once again that ground box placement can indeed be an esthetic experience.

Some may find the red road surface odd. And should the cones be collidable?

Overall a great track but like many of ZooN's tracks is made for pro's and frustrates rookies. Perhaps in the future he could keep newbies in mind when making jumps that are a challenge even for the best of the best.

Lots of off-track roads, very little of which is in the start track. The secondary track in here is almost as good as the real one - follow the arrows on the grey road. This should definitely be made into a complete track of its own - its a great drive. Perhaps it is fitting that the guy who gave us mont gris extends it even farther by providing yet another course outside the reaches of even his own track. Offroad and on this track is truly superb. A lot of fun to drive, whether you are racing hard or just out on a relaxing cruise.

The racing line and surface are great, and the attention to detail is excellent. Very little to say about it - just an excellent track! This one has it all, good environment, good textures, good racing.
