Hello everyone.

I was thinking on how to get people back together into playing online.
With the community patch this game is making it worth for retired players to come back!

Would it be something to make an mtm2 whatsapp group so people can call in others when they come online?
or
In a further stage (Im not a programmer at all :p), is it possible to develop a mobile app so people receive a message on their mobile phone when someone comes online? Something like the bleeps on zone friends

I have just made a streaming, testing, but is good.
I have to check my internet if I can take a little bit more quality.

Yeah I have mtm2 in my steam account. Good enough for group chat if we wanna start an mtm2 group.
I don't know of any game lobbies though that support mtm2 properly.

Also mtm2 networking is a bit of a pain in the ass these days.

There's an MTM2 Lobby there, can play online with each other in Voobly lobby/client, just make an account there, download the client, with the game browser find Monster Truck Madness 2; if it's not listed on the right, go to "Games", and look for Monster Truck Madness 2. If not understand how to do that, in Game Browser hit "All Games" and scroll down until you see the CD-ROM ones and Monster Truck Madness 2; click it and "Scenic Route", then "Open The Lobby".

As for the networking, just in your router, make a DHCP reservation for your MAC address to keep your current IP address (since u so smart I'm sure you know how to do this), and forward the ports MTM2 needs (47624 tcp, 6073 udp, 2300-2400 tcp & 2300-2400 udp), OR if you don't want to make a DHCP reservation, just go to your network adapter and make your IP address static instead of dynamic, meaning manually set the IP address to the one you forward the ports to, and the IP will never change therefore you won't have to worry about the MTM2 networking. Sure this might be a 'slight' security vulnerability..but you aren't worried about getting hacked are your? Anyways, there's your answer.

More people should get back into it and be havin' some fun. We play at 9pm, est, every sunday. Probably for a good 2 hours at least, sometimes up to 3-4 hours.

Sent an email to that dude, and yes that was me who "replied" to your comment on that video, I went to their website and hit contact us, sent email telling about 2017-2018 online play with voobly and also about the beta version(s) and HD trucks now and stock / addon tracks and trucks, if computer is rugged enough to handle it, and how game can do up to 1920x1080 now, and told him we need some more players. However, I don't know kind of result we'll see, if any.

Id say, maybe start with keeping at least us "new players" already in for playing? Find some time in youre kalender to race . We are some Europeans racing now, Me, Ash and maybe this new spanish guy varous. I know you have quite a tough kalender, Ash got also, and me some times.

If we plan to play some days, maybe we can gather a few guys to race or rumble? As you know we Europeans cant play late on sundays to catch ur tournaments. Wouldnt it be a possabillity to have a tournament or two in a compromise between european and US time? Maybe one in the week and one in the weekend? It is 5 hours now between norwegian and US time. I can play at least until 11 pm (6 pm US time) in the weekdays and sunday. In Fridays n saturdays I can play maybe for 2-3 hours later.

As quite a newcomer to play mtm online, Id love to play more. But if there is no activity online, I might have to look for other games.

And my schedule right now is a bit all over the place though I should be able to play this rest of the week. (and then I won't be able to play until after New Years because I will be at my parents place where the internet doesn't work right. Maybe gameranger will work).
