How do you solve runaway framerates (game speeding up), mysterious bleed through of background objects (like taskbar) and mysterious mouse won't click in the game or won't appear. Also, random lockups when it goes full screen forcing a hard reset?

Well you're the first person with that kind of problems, so I don't know. My MTM2 runs fine on my Ubuntu 8.10

So I think the problem is between the keyboard and the chair (Layer 8 ) [(-:]

It's probably from trying to run the games on far outdated equipment. Just for the sake of keeping said older equipment around.

Perhaps I forgot a very important part.. I'm not sure. But I use native DirectPlay libraries instead of the built in

the libraries are:
Code:
dplayx
dpnet
dpnhpast
dpwsockx

all of them set to native, then built-in (on the wine config dialog)
