 Post subject: Problem I'm Having
PostPosted: Thu Apr 20, 2000 9:02 am
I'm trying to make changes to a stock model. I take loader.bin and resize it to half its original size.

That works, but if I try to go back to it later, I get an error that it has an unsupported face type, 0x44 at 7596

What does this mean, and is there a way around it?

This shouldn't be happening, but then again with binedit a lot of things happen that shouldn't. Try this.

Open the model
resize it the way you want
goto Face>Select All Faces
goto Groups>Set Groupd Face Type
select 0x18 Normal Texture (MTM)
click Ok
goto Face>Deselect all faces
now save.

My only guess would be that when you resize, something is getting messed around with the bin. This should solve it (crosses fingers).

By Golly, it does appear to have worked.

Thanks Phin.
