I made this sweet truck that is tricked out. But I can't find a stock trk. that has the lights in the right position. Can someone help me with that. I will send you the pod and then you can take a look and if you can figure out how to change the lights to the right position please do so and I will put credit to you in the notepad file thingy.
Oh, and there is a side rail and a wing on the back that need some resizing, if you could do that to.

P.S(here is some picks of the truck so far:

Front

It may not help, but here's a site with info on adding lights:
http://www.geocities.com/sl4x4/lights.html

You may want to try TIKI's TRUCK SHOP...it lets you position lights in an easier fashion, but unfortunately it doesn't let you see your results.....you have to then load the truck into TRACKED2 to see the lights, then back to TIKI's to reposition, back to Tracked2 to inspect, repeat until satisfied.

I used it for months when I first started, until I learned what all the parameters of the TRK file are for. Now I just use NOTEPAD (the TRK file is just a TXT text file with the extension changed to "trk").

Lights are actually quite easy, just boring to do...always save it for last in case you make changes to your truck...

There is where I learned. In fact, I printed it off. Kept it. And refered to it everytime it came to the lights, and everything else.

I'd print it off too, if I were you.
LC explains it all there.

Yep, that's the SOAD truck I made per someone's instructions.....I'm not familar with the band myself (SOAD is a band right?)

I used flames I found in a search....just go to your favorite search engine, and type in the following 2 words:

FLAME DECAL

(keep a space between them)

There's a huge number of website with pics of flame decals and paint designs.....When you find some flames on a site, right-click on them and select SAVE PICTURE AS...

Don't know if I have those flames anymore or not.....usually when I use a pre-made decal like that, I toss it afterwards so I don't copy-cat myself on a later truck....there's plenty of different flame designs around to avoid that.

You will be suprised at how much you find......

Come on, what the have you got against them. I like the video, sure you may hate them but the music is dern good. The videos are different, just like... let's see... Red Hot Chilli Peppers. They make no sense but the music is good.

About the truck, I'll try and send you the art files but i am very busy at the moment.

Hey White, can't you just extract the files from the pod. using Winpod, becasue that is what I do when I download trucks. I hope that's what you can do.

You should zip it up anyway and send it to at least one person to test.....If there are missing textures, then the truck will still work on your computer, but not on ours (since we don't have the missing art on OUR machines)

In fact, I just sent a new truck to Phin this week for a test, and he said my truck has missing RAWs.....it's an easy error to commit by anyone.

Essentially, if you didn't POD it with Tracked2, then let a friend beta-test it first before the upload. it's a sound guideline to follow. (tracked2 will crash instead of making a POD if files are missing).

For some reason, whenever I use Tracked 2 and make the pod, I have to do a batch. file and it doesn't make the pod, because it sais it couldn't find any of the files?

How are you using Tracked2? Batch files?
Make sure tracked2 is installed INSIDE OF your MTM2 folder created by the Monster Truck Madness 2 game installation software....don't create your own MTM2 folder for Tracked2..it uses some of the game's code to run.....

I place my ACTs and RAWs in the monster truck madness 2/ART folder, BINs in the MODELS folder, and the TRK file in the TRUCK folder...that's all. The first time you use Winpod to extract the stock truck files from the TRUCK2.POD file, it creates these folders.

Then I start Tracked2, select TRUCK EDITOR, press 1, and type in the name of my TRK file in 8 letters or less, leaving out the .POD at the end (example: BIGFOOT)

When the truck loads, I press 9, then type in the name of the TRK file again and press return,

....then it asks for a POD name to build....type in the name of the pod and include .POD at the end (example: BIGFOOT.POD)..hit return again.

finally it asks for a volume name...here you can type in your name so future users know who made it....this last one is optional but recommended strongly.

If it worked right, then you should return to the garage with your truck in view....

If there's a missing file, or an error in the TRK file, then the program will close immediately....

Is this how you are podding them?

Well I dont' know why nut I always get some sort of batch file and all my trk. bin. act. raw. files are in the right spots. I am not sure why it does that though.

Just read your edited post, my MTM2 file is in a different file that It should be
