made a post bout this at vales and i am here what would u guys think of this...

What if there was a MTM2 allstar challange where both draggers and circut racers colide in a battle of epic proportions. There could be a rally track built up and run from where the main start point was to the drag racing arena. From there brackets could be organized up with with a dragger vs a circut racer and see who moves on... There could be a huge FS course made up as well and all could particpate in that too... Also there could be other competions as well such as a save competion where trucks one at a time hit a ramp with one set of wheels and see if they can save the truck... Other things could be a wheelie competion donut... We could get three peeps organized up to make it one Circut track designer one FS designer and one drag track designer...

Prolly not gonna be excepted well but i dont care my two cents...

The only problem with this idea is the fact that freestyle is a whole new ballgame that not too many native mtm2 racers will be willing to adapt to. Not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just that it's not something that would ever fly imo.
Aside from that, the racing aspect would be a very welcome thing, the more the merrier. Any and all of you are more than welcome to join in on some well organized tourney circuit racing hosted by ShadowPrincess and the SLO team puts on some inpromptu get togethers as well.

I promise you that no one uses "hacked" race trucks or cheats in any way shape or form as some idiots claim that we do over at at KC's... it just doesn't happen simply because it's just way too easy to detect someone who does, and if someone was stupid enough to attempt a cheat they'd be black listed faster that you can say grave digger.

On the flip side if any of the drag league promoter guys want to put on a race only event by all means please post the details here, as a heads up.

Someone else proposed something along the lines of a racer vs dragger competition a little while back, but I can't recall who it was. I'm all about support for the game. Yes, I'm a racer, but I also rumble, play CNR and RnR, but drags and freestyle never really caught on with me or anyone on our team for that matter. In the Zone there are a few guys that get into drags/freestyle, but only a few; mostly it's racers and rumblers.

What I can tell ya is that racers probably wouldn't be interested in something like this. We have this . . . this thing about going fast, real fast lol, and that's just not what freestyles and drags are about. However, what I'd like to suggest is that maybe you guys give RnR or CnR a try. Both are team oriented and neither require that you be a hotshot racer.

As for rumors of cheating, Mal is right - it just doesn't happen. Now, in years gone by some rumblers had programs that would allow them to keep accruing points even if they were off the scoring platform, or would construct trucks that were extremely hard to flip or move . . . all in an effort to win more tournaments. Nowadays rumbling tourneys are pretty much extinct so there's nothing to gain by cheating.

But hey, like you said, even if it doesn't fly there's no harm in trying. :)

Sounds good, but as Cope said,
racers get bored with 5 second races.
Free style, not sure of the point.
People compare Racers and Draggers.
Draggers hold a line for a couple turns,
Racers hold lines from start to finish of tracks
that can last minutes at Speeds that I'm sure
Draggers dont touch in the lil time it takes
to finish a Drag. Not to say some Draggers
arent fast. Sorry, cant see these things being compared
to each other.

My 2-cents. Which some will ask for change. lol
