I'm testing the "Notify me when a reply is posted" feature, and need somebody to reply to see if it's working. I have reason to believe it's not. Thanks.

Well that seems to have worked. But I've been getting some undeliverable returned mail from addresses that I know are good. Hmm.

Not I. In fact, my mail has been spotty lately, so if I don't respond there's a good chance I never got anything.

You getting two for every post?

Please don't mind the successive posts. We need to test it after all. Anyway, I just spent some time scouring the phpbb forum and found a suggestion on the above related issue but nothing on duplicate replies. I'll soon know if the tweak worked as soon as I post. For the duplicate, I can only suggest either two people replied, or somebody accidentally double clicked (and it wasn't even me cuz I finally broke down and spent six bucks on a new mouse). If it continues, let me know and I'll dig into it more.

It appears to only send duplicates if someone posts a reply to a topic I started. It's doing it on both my pc's... maybe I have a stale cookie? or I need to reset some things in my profile. I'll clear my cookies and reset some profile options and see if that takes care of it, I'll let ya know if it's still a problem.

It's nothing you're doing. Don't knock yourself out. I'll ask on the support forum and see if anybody has a clue.

I have more examples on the other pc that show identical time stamps so I'm pretty sure it's a small glitch in the system and not two separate replies.

This is no big deal to me, just letting you know that I still get duplicate reply notifications. I get the first notification about 5 minutes after the post then another about 30 minutes later. I've had the notification option turned off in my profile for a while but they still keep coming like rampaging holsteins :o)

> I still get duplicate reply notifications

And I'm still trying to follow it up.
