Hey Wipeout, it may be a bit late but I got that spinning thing. Zoon Kitchen 1, Overkill, 8 trucks. No 'have mark increase box count' popup. Which guy on the dev team is Mark anyway lol.

Mal, can I have that track. I've always wanted to bungee jump in a truck.

http://malibu350.com/tracks/zips/RRSpEd.zip ... MTMG exclusive, never before seen Rock Ridge special edition.

the above track will produce the "ask mark" error. that in itself is no big deal but what happens afterwards is pretty cool, at least I thought so lol.

instructions... mount up the track in your pod.ini then start up the game as you normaly would except be sure and select 7 opponents before starting the race. the race begins on a bridge and you should get the error before you reach the end of the bridge. when the error pops up hit the close button which will bring you back to the race select screen, without exiting the game start the race over again and witness the games engine go bananas.

a side note: I tested this out again after it sat for a couple years to be sure it still did what it's supposed to do and at first it did not, in fact I tried 5 times and did not get the error so I mounted up the original Rock Ridge tracks with it and it worked immediately and every time thereafter without fail, so if anyone tries and does not get any results then I suggest you download the originals and try again. The funny thing is that I unmounted the original RR pod and removed it from the mtm2 folder but still got the error with the SE so I can't say forsure if the original has to be mounted or not.

Odd seeing some of these names again (page one), of some really great folks who were regulars back in 2000.

Mark "box" Randal (as I like to refer to him) is the creator of the game engine itself and a founder of TRI. I recently noticed that when you play rumbles offline you are him.

Abby who indeed, heheh.

Cale just sent me a variation on some of these in which the suspension breaks... making the trucks undrivable.

(And by the way, lotta broken image links in here)

That happened to me once. I was driving Black Stallion and suddenly I flew hundreds of feet in the air! I was pretty scared so I pressed H twice in quick sucession and used Gold Mode to get back to the gound. Also, it caused something cool: When the right front tire sinks into the ground and you can still control the truck, the truck doesn't automatically right itself! Therefore, I can do what the comp trucks do: call the helicopter.

My BUGG OUT mud bogger used to get that stretchy water thingy.....it has to do with the number of vertices or faces of the vehicle, and goes away if you turn off REFLECTONS and TRUCK REFLECTIONS in your game's graphics options. This will cure all flooding problems.
