Hmmmmmmmm for some reason every time I come to this forum there are countless threads marked read that I have never read... Not sure why this is happening, I'm automatically logged in everytime I enter so logging in can't be the problem... any ideas??

Sorta gets frustrating because I lose track of threads that I have posted on (and people have responded to afterwards)... and any updates to threads that keep on growing are never shown as new (one example being that gigantic zoon thread :P )...

I'm guessing its my stupid computer :?

This forum, it turns out, doesn't use "sessions" to keep track of un/read topics. I only realized this after we'd been using it a while. For me, it just sort of acts like a browser history thing. If I haven't viewed it before, then there's a different color icon beside the post. But if I go away and come back without reading it, it returns to normal.

Apparently there is a new version of this forum in the making which will hopefull solve these problems. It's a bummer, I know, but it's what you get for free. There are many more features than the ubb and it's easier to maintain. The other option was ikonboard, which I liked from the old road rage site, but it wouldn't import the old forum - I spent over a week trying.

Cool thanks for the heads-up Phin. Figured my web browser was the culprit, have had a multitiude of problems with page displays in the past.

Good to see you found a forum that would import all the old data... its always great to be able to catch up on threads posted long long ago. :)
