You may feel confident going up to 1400 (not counting wheels). 908 is excellent.

Tip. Map it/them to a new texture or rename the old ones to avoid naming conflicts.

Can you map it to a stock evo texture? Seems something there would be fine for a prototype of this one. Oh, and btw, alpine posted he's having off line issues, so bummer on that one.

Now I'm off to test a couple tracks.

Hmm.. Are you saying you want me to map the truck to those textures? What good will that do?

Also, i dont know what half of those textures are actually mapped to.. [bump]

What I'm saying is that in the absence of other textures this is very close to what you're already dealing with. Whether you use it as is, or cut it up and only use what's appropriate would be your call. The point, however, is that you'd have a properly mapped model with a decent texture. If you need more than that, you'll have to say more what you have in mind.

Maybe im stupid, but i still dont get what your saying completely.. lol.

If im getting what you're saying in your last sentence, do you mean you want more info on what i want you to actually do to texture the truck? (If so..) I'm looking for someone to do a texture of an s10 body that i can map the truck to..

(I'm really sorry.. I feel stupid. [uhoh])

What he's saying is that you could make use of some ready made evo textures like the sample above for your truck, unless you had something else in mind like a custom flame job or something.

Evo... Im still lost on what that is.. Do you guys mean 4x4 evolution?

Also, if im supposed to map my truck to those textures, i'd need to change the lights and the shape of the body and stuff... Dont think it'd work out too well.

LOL... yep, when we say Evo we're talking about 4x4 Evolution (and sometimes its sequel, 4x4 Evo2).

We're not suggesting you should change your truck to fit those textures... rather, that you can probably get some use of those textures for your truck. For example, yes the headlights and grille do not fit, but you could probably get some use out of the sides and tailgate if you copied those to a 256x256 texture and mapped to it.

I'll probably regret this, but I've downloaded your truck and if I find time I might try making some basic textures for you... no promises however!!

Alright.. Sorry abotu the delay guys. I have a friend trying to conjure up some textures for me, and he's taking a while in doing so...

I've put this project on hold until he's done, and then i'll complete it.

Right now Counter-Strike is taking my attention.. But i'll come back as soon as my friend is done. :)

Well my friend never came through with those textures. I know its been a long while, but i lost interest in MTM2 when more computer problems started happening.. Well, my comptuer is perfectly stable now, but i've lost all interest in MTM2 once again.

If i am to continue this truck, i will probably make it for GTA: Vice City. Not sure, though.

Anyway, really sorry you guys. The constraints on models for mtm2 are way to strong also.. Hated it.

See you guys around.. Especially if you play Vice City and browse gtaforums.com...

Good luck you all.
