It's a 1967 GTO!

I started it 2 months ago but got quit a bit done today. Still needs major work though. I have to texture a little more, close the bottom, instert a few more things & tie up some lose ends.
The mesh/model was in real bad shape when I got it. Yes it's a NFS convert but I bet I have moved 60% of the vertices around. It was full of hole's & the front end was totally square. It worked well in NFS but in MTM it looked bad.

Heres the stats on it so far.

Textures: 3 but will end up with 4 after
the frame is attached.

Faces: 710 & counting. Hoping to bring
it in under 950

Vetices: 478 plus whatever the frame,
shocks & tires will add.

O, could someone point me to a walk-thru on clipping sound bite's of Army & editing them back together for use in the game? I never even attempted anything like that & would like to get him to say G T O or GOAT.

Nice pics of a beta truck there JNJ, lol. Sound files are a pain. Just open the wave files in sound recorder and stop it just before or after the part you want to grab. Then delete everything before or, uh, after it. Save as new name. Now repeat for each part. Then you can merge them together and save as one complete sound file. Doing it is easy enough. Finding the right sound bites is the hard part. You have to listen to endless fragments of Army saying his stuff.

Mal, that 67 Chevelle sounds like it might be a fun project. Not yet, but in a while I might have a go at it using photomodeler. With any luck we can get to it before the summer is out. We'll need: four or five pics. Medium to high angle 3/4 front and rear views and front, rear and side full profile shots. I'll leave the textures for the game in your capable hands.

Thanks for the complement's guys.

The 67 Chevelle sounds sweet. I used to own a 66, the sad looking front end on it was the main difference between the 2 years. I will do one if I can find it but like all good things it will take time. Maybe after Mortor City comes out it will be real easy. Pretty sure theres a 66 in the game.
I'm leaning twords doing a whole line on NFS converts of muscle cars. Muscle Car Madness!

I feel a little stupid for asking about the wav files. Right here on the MTMG there is a how to & in 10 mintues I had one done. There dont seem to be a way to get Army to say it but I did one with my voice & it works. Took longer to get this cheap mic working then it did to make it.
Hey, would you rather have a sexy sounding girl say it? I might go that route, I sound a little plain.
