This is beta 0.1

Please tell me your thoughts :)

Few things to notice:

1. Yes there will be a picture in the track menu
2. CP 3 will NOT be marked. Checkpoint markers don't look good in that area.
3. I need a "parking space" sign near the lighthouse
4. The song that will be used in the final version is "The Last Race" by Nietzsche
5. Should i leave the bridge like this or add some sort of barriers/fences on it?

Minor stuff only Fila Fila.

Before checkpoint 1, on the right hand side (on the side, not on the road) at the first crossroad, is too rough, there's no need for a truck trap there, and it would make recovering from a crash on the way to checkpoint 4 nearly impossible. In short, it could stand some smoothing out.

The water is too deep everywhere.

Cows and pigs pop up when you get close to them... and some should go on normal and complex scenery level (if they're not already - I didn't check).

The guard rails on the left side of the road approaching checkpoint 12 need tweaking - they're all over the place.

Overall, very well done. This should be a good one when you're finished.

Which one is cp 3?

So, make one.

Do we get the mp3 version too?

> Should i leave the bridge like this or add some sort of barriers/fences on it?

Don't need rails but could use nicer textures.

LOL 8)

>Do we get the mp3 version too?

:) We shall see what i can do :p Where's the good ol' mtmbbs when you need it?

>Don't need rails but could use nicer textures.

Hmmm... i'll try to find something. I don't have the memory as i used to when it comes to other tracks so i don't remember where to find any better textures.

As for the rest, i'll be dealing with them.

Holy Maccaroni! I never knew you could raise/lower objects by 0.1 :D

And to think i have spent all my track making life trying to align objects by 1 instead of 0.1 :D

There. Fixed all that.

Are the bridge textures better? I know they don't align but i couldn't find something to make me happy.

I will "integrate" the texture with the road and the grass around it though so it would probably look better in the final go.

If there aren't any other complaints tomorrow i shall proceed to add the music, the track menu screen and will "blend in" the bridge with the grass, road texture and write GB's name on it.

I have a complaint. But I have to run the track first so I can figure out what it's going to be. Been busy, sorry Fila. I'll run it first thing when I'm done tonight.

The guard-rails and the bridge textures are much improved but why is the start/finish line on a corner and is the shortcut between 3 and 4 done on purpose and if it's called short whiskey why is it so long?

And it's not short whiskey, it's small whiskey :p
and the start/finish line stays.

I did found a cut but it's between 10 and 11.

You have to show me the 3 to 4 cut :)

Nice track so far, but how come two of the bridge textures were different from the rest?

This reminds me that there's some killer bridges in wow i'd like to stick on my site but haven't had the time. I did stick a shipwreck on a couple weeks ago that's pretty cool you may want to use instead of the one you have.

Nice track Fila.

I think I found the problem.

I didn't see it so I didn't bother going through it.
