I decided that i would update round and round from mtm1 to mtm2 standards. i added crazy 98 textures around the track and gave it more of a crazy 98 theme. it has a mix of mtm1 models and mtm2 models. the ai get kind of messed up around the covered bridge area in pro but they eventually get going and manage to race fine. enjoy this beta and there will be a final version out soon.

track can be downloaded here: http://mtm2.com/~tracks/dl.cgi?dl=4563

Please give feedback on what u think, what i should change or add and what other stuff i could look at and improve. and leave comments about the track please.

if anyone can get a better track screenshot for me it would be greatly appreciated. :D

The road textures are a tad wide and ride up the side of a couple hills on corners. There's not really much you can do outside of flatting the hill or choosing a different texture. But it's not a major problem so you can probably just leave it if you want.

There are several models that are too deep in the terrain and when you drive past they pop up. Most of the road cones and some fences. There's also at least one bulldozer/tractor thingie floating in the air.

It looks like you used the original terrain. There's big jumps just before sharp turns in several places and I think if it was me I would improve the original track by trying to smooth those out a bit so they're not so extreme. It's way to easy to over-shoot and miss the turn.

And that's pretty much my first impressions. I think it's a good start.

PS. If those pictures are taken in Trackview, you can use the plus and minus keys on the keypad to display more terrain in your track shots.

thanks for the reply i'll try to improve the track with what u said. then I'll release another beta and u can try the updated one :D

by the way i used the txp templates that were on the traxx help page so the textures are the original ones from the original crazy98 [(-:]

AH too bad phine got to u first, i woulda said leave the bumps heh.

I'm not a huge fan of pavement races.... So..... Just makes me miss the grass with the torn up tracks in the dirt textures.

*goes and plays mtm1*

When I get a chance, ill take a real good look at this track.
