I'm working on a utility that acts as an interface to the original podzip and i'm having some really big problems. here is a screeshot of what podzip32 looks like at the moment.

<IMG SRC="http://hac-man.tripod.com/podzip32.gif" border=0>

It looks good but the way it acts is quite the contrary. I got everything to work once but once i added the pie graph and the progress bar the whole thing got messed up. Is there anyone on this board that could help me with a bit of c++ in borland c++ 3.0.

I'm not gonna give the source code away in case someone steals it!

Now, this is coming from a total non-programmer, but wouldn't it be easier to just pull out the pie and status bar?

From what you say, it works fine without them, and they aren't exactly essential. PodZip takes about five seconds to extract the files and rebuild the pod.

I realize you want to make it look good, but sometimes simple is best.

Believe me i downloaded your BATCH file long ago....

But MSDOS Batch Files and C++ are two entirely different things.

I DID add an about box to PodZip 32 as seen on the screenshot.

PodZip 32 is only a interface like yours except it is windows. If i knew the source code to PodZip i wouldn't bother making a interface.

As for the pie graph thing and progress bar i took them off and it still didn't work so there must be a conflict somewhere.

Once i can figure out this problem i will put a BETA up on my site. As for now i can only show some screenshots & i'm not dumb i;m not gonna give the source code out. I will once PodZip 32 is finished but i dont want anyone to copy my idea.

I've tried BATCH files as well.

Folder Creator 1.1
Download

I've made soem others too but i've decided to move half of HMTM2 to homestead so i'm not gonna bother uploading them yet.

Hey, Hey looks like i may have a BETA version of PodZip 32 out soon i managed to get it to work again by taking away by rewriting the source code and copying and pasting the neccesary blocks of c++ code. Possibly in anotehr month or two a new look podzip will be out (interface actually) it will be put on my site once i've redone my site which is currently under progress. No more slow loading times - But this will be a BIG BETA version as it crashes *VERY* often still but it does the job.
